PROJECT OVERVIEW

Main scope of this project was renew the design in order to create a smooth shopping experience. We were aiming higher user customer score and Google Play search optimisation. Therefore we go native completely and shape the experience based on native Android guidelines and design system.

ShopALike is a platform with nearly 1 million users daily in more than 10 countries in the world. With more than 4000 partners and nearly 150 million product. Platform mainly working as a catalog and redirecting users to the partner pages. Giving that, partners are playing double role, both stakeholder and user next to the end customer.

IDEATION

Being said the nature of the product is a catalog from thousands of partners, marketing aspect of research was extremely important. We have to blend SEO and marketing needs with user needs and come up something both our vendors and customers happy.

CREATION

For this project, next to the user research we’ve collected pain points, we got great support from marketing teams as well. With their vision and data and our knowledge about users, we come up with a pleasing solution for everyone.

Most challenging aspect of the product was to create a navigation for both works for user landing via Google search or affiliate link to the right category ang this navigation has to work pleasingly for a customer starting journey from home page.

In the end, our efforts paid off! And we reached our goal. 2,3 review score hit the 4,2 with this redesign.
